The key to Re-Lock's self-locking ability is a nylon patch material applied over heat treated, OEM-style flange bolts to provide optimal resistance to vibration, heat, chemicals and solvents. Re-Lock bolts retain their locking ability for many re-uses, making them much more convenient than thread-locking compound which needs to be reapplied before each use. This L-1 kit has enough Re-Lock bolts to replace all of the more common stock bolts in most applications, with a few spares left over.
